You may need to reset your server password when you want to retrieve it for the first SSH connection to your server, or when you have forgotten/lost the root password from your server.
In order to do this, you need to enter the control panel of your virtual servers – https://vm.ukrnames.com/ (the login and password from this panel were sent to your contact mail when you ordered the first server).
Next, on the server you need, click the “Manage” button – this way you will find yourself in the settings of this particular server.
At the bottom of the page there will be a tab with the name “Root/Admin password“, click on it. A “Change” button will appear below. Press it and confirm your intentions.
This will initiate a password change for the root user. The password will be displayed on the screen, copy and save it in a safe place.
Please note that in the process of changing the password, the server will be restarted.
